Day In The Life of Seaway
Back in October I spent the day with one of my favorite pop punk bands, Seaway. It was a piece that was a long time in the making and I'm thrilled that the guys let me hang out with them for a day. I've photographed Seaway more than a handful of times over the years but this day with them really gave me more of an insight on their dynamic as a band and who they are as people.
I had some of the most insightful conversations with Adam and Andrew. I learned about how much responsibility Adam has within the band now that he not only plays bass but also tour manages Seaway when they're on the road. When talking to Andrew about their writing process, I found out about his love for pop music (especially Carly Rae Jepsen) which was somewhat of a surprise to me but great nonetheless. Also hearing his views about the music industry and how he hopes that Seaway will grow beyond the pop punk scene was refreshing. It's the little things you learn about some of your favorite bands that makes you appreciate them that much more.
